Health Science encompasses a diverse array of topics aimed at fostering a comprehensive understanding of human health and wellness. It is blended learning that combines classroom, lab, and practical application. Students delve into topics such as infection control, pharmacology, disease processes, anatomy, health care careers, and many others. They will also be trained in CPR, first aid, and Stop the Bleed. These skills will be valuable to students that are considering furthering their career in health care. Students are also given the opportunity to take classes to achieve a SC Nurse Aide Certification.
