The Diesel Technology program provides students with the skills needed to analyze malfunctions, repair, rebuild and maintain construction equipment, agriculture equipment, and medium and heavy trucks. Students are provided instruction and experience in systems such as diesel engines, electronics fundamentals, schematic reading, fuel injection, onboard computers, transmissions, steering and suspension, and brakes.  They can earn certifications from S/P 2 for Pollution Prevention and Shop Safety, SnapOn Multimeter, and two certifications in ASE Brakes (T4) and Preventive Maintenance Inspection (T8).  During their first semester, they will complete a full disassembly and reassembly of a Kubota Diesel Engine.  The program has adopted the Kubota Tech program to also provide up to eight certifications.  For more information regarding the Kubota Tech program, use the link provided below.
