The Early Childhood courses are designed for students interested in learning how to work with children. We are so fortunate to have the Clover High preschool program right next door to our classroom! The high school students have the opportunity to observe the preschool students in their classroom environment, serve them breakfast and lunch, create and implement lesson plans, and help monitor indoor and outdoor play. We also learn about how children grow and develop, developmentally appropriate practices, and supervision and safety. After taking the Introduction to Early Childhood course, there are opportunities to earn up to 18 hours of college credit through York Technical College. Join us in Early Childhood Education today!
